TimeZyme will be a cloud-based platform designed to work on modern devices and browsers. This page outlines the minimum and recommended requirements for the best experience once the platform launches.

Browser Requirements

Supported Browsers

TimeZyme will work best with the latest versions of:

  • Google Chrome (version 90+) - Recommended
  • Mozilla Firefox (version 88+)
  • Microsoft Edge (version 90+)
  • Safari (version 14+)
Internet Explorer is not supported. Please upgrade to a modern browser for the best experience.

Browser Features Required

  • JavaScript enabled
  • Cookies enabled
  • WebGL support for advanced visualizations
  • LocalStorage for saving preferences

Device Requirements

Desktop/Laptop

Minimum Requirements:

  • Processor: Dual-core 2.0 GHz or equivalent
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • Display: 1366 x 768 resolution
  • Network: Broadband internet connection (5 Mbps)

Recommended Requirements:

  • Processor: Quad-core 2.5 GHz or better
  • RAM: 8 GB or more
  • Display: 1920 x 1080 resolution or higher
  • Network: High-speed broadband (25 Mbps+)
  • Graphics: Dedicated GPU for complex visualizations

Mobile Devices

iOS:

  • iPhone 8 or newer
  • iPad (6th generation) or newer
  • iOS 14.0 or later

Android:

  • Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later
  • Minimum 3 GB RAM
  • Screen size 5" or larger recommended

Network Requirements

Bandwidth

  • Minimum: 5 Mbps download / 1 Mbps upload
  • Recommended: 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload
  • For Teams: 50 Mbps+ for multiple concurrent users

Connectivity

  • Stable internet connection required
  • WebSocket support for real-time features
  • Port 443 (HTTPS) must be open

File Upload Specifications

Supported Formats

  • Documents: PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT, RTF, ODT
  • Presentations: PPTX, PPT, ODP
  • Spreadsheets: XLSX, XLS, CSV
  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG (within documents)
  • Maximum file size: 50 MB per document

Document Guidelines

For optimal processing:

  • Well-structured content with clear headings
  • Text-based PDFs (not scanned images)
  • Standard fonts and formatting
  • Images under 5 MB each

Performance Optimization

Tips for Best Performance

  1. Close unnecessary browser tabs - Each tab consumes memory
  2. Update your browser - Latest versions include performance improvements
  3. Clear browser cache - Periodically clear to prevent slowdowns
  4. Use hardware acceleration - Enable in browser settings
  5. Stable internet - Use wired connection when possible

Troubleshooting Slow Performance

If TimeZyme runs slowly:

  1. Check your internet speed at fast.com
  2. Verify you meet minimum requirements
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Disable browser extensions temporarily
  5. Restart your device

TimeZyme supports:

  • HTTPS everywhere - TimeZyme only works over secure connections
  • Modern TLS support (1.2 or higher)

  • cdn.timezyme.com
  • app.timezyme.com

API Requirements

For developers using TimeZyme API:

  • REST API over HTTPS
  • JSON request/response format
  • OAuth 2.0 authentication
  • Rate limits: 1000 requests/hour
